Rich family blog photo  Many years ago I was sitting with a group of co-workers.  The oldest member of the group, who was 60-ish, was known for having a long and involved story in response to any question.  Someone asked him if he had any advice for the group and he said, “Don’t wish time away.  It is gone all too quickly by itself.”  And he stopped talking.  (26) 

Live consistently by the values you say you believe in.  If you feel love, make sure that it is obvious and stated.  (28)

When facing difficulties, never say “I can’t.”  Say instead, “I haven’t yet learned how,” and then set about learning how.  (29)

Don’t be afraid to dream about your future.  Then make a commitment to that dream by sharing it with your best friends, your favorite teachers, your parents, your extended family, and adult friends.  Many have made their dreams a happy reality for the rest of their lives.  (29)
